1. Facebook Username

If you have not yet taken the unique username of your facebook profile, You should surely take it now by visiting the following link.

For example, the custom url of my personal profile is: http://www.facebook.com/irfan.hashmi.37

2. Full Length Profile Picture

To make your facebook profile picture of full length as facebook allows, then crop it into 200x600pixels. Such that 200 breadth and 600 length.

3.Hide Your Online Status From Selected Friends

So you want to use Facebook chat but don’t want some people to see your online status? Simply open up the Facebook Chat and click on Friends List. Start creating a new list called BlockListby naming it whatever you want.
Once the list is created, add those friends to the list that you want to appear offline to. When the list is complete, hover your mouse to the little green icon adjacent to the list and click Go Offline.

4. Download videos from facebook

A lot of things are available to download videos from youtube and other websites etc. but may not know how to download your favorite video from facebook. But its very easy to download the them.Just get the original link(url) of that video and visit www.downfacebook.comor Click Here and paste that url in the box.

5. Share any Link

Sometime facebook bans people from posting and sharing links on facebook profiles, In this case you can use the following url to share them eaisly.

6. Tag People and Pages in Status Updates

To mention someone in a status update just type “@” in the status bar and start typing their name as it appears on Facebook. An auto-generated list will then come up with people in your social circle whose name starts with the letters you’ve typed. The feature also works with pages, brands, events and companies.
Hit the name you want, complete the update, click share and the name will become a hyperlink (you won’t see the @ symbol) and will appear in blue text.

7. Use Facebook chat without using wall updates

If you want to use only facebook chat without using your profile and other wall updates then use the following link while you are logged in to your facebook account.

8. Chat with Bold and Underlined Words

You can also chat in your Chat Box with Bold and Underlined Letters.
Use of *bold* = bold
Use of _underline_ = underline
Use bold and underline word together with *_Hello_* =Hello
These will look like a shown in image below.

9. Facebook Chat Smileys and Symbols

Sometimes words just are not enough. For times when words just can’t express, there are emoticons. With the somewhat recent implementation of facebook chat came a new set of emoticons too. Here is a graph showing all of the different facebook emoticons that you can use in chat.

10. Flip Your Status Text Upside Down

Are you in the mood to have a little fun? Try flipping your FB status upside down. I’m sure your friends will be tilting their heads too trying to read your message. Ain’t that funny? It sure is!
